Prairie Dogs!

Prairie Dog

Prairie Dogs are located all over the US (mainly in the central and western most states). They require a long term commitment from their owner, but when raised properly make fantastic pets. They grow to be affectionate towards their owner as part of the pack.

Look! Another Crestie!

CrestedGecko

These guys are still babies and have a lot of growing and learning to do. They’re very docile. This little guy didn’t want to get off my hand during our little photoshoot. When interacting with your pet Crestie, you’ll learn that they love to jump and once they’ve found their target, they rarely miss it!

Careful though. If your pet doesn’t quite make his or her landing, it can be fatal for them. They’re usually nocturnal tree dwellers and spend most of their time resting under leaves until nightfall where they then spend their nights foraging for bugs and other tasty, crunchy things.

Crested Gecko

CrestedGecko2

Crested Geckos, also known as Eyelash Geckos, are very easy to care for. They were thought to be extinct until they were found again in 1994. The color variations of these critters are wild and crazy. Specialized breeders will breed the Crestie just for these special colorations!

Red-eyed Tree Frog

RedEyeTreeFrog

These little guys are tropical critters found throughout Central America and southern Mexico. They’re not poisonous despite their colorful patters. These vibrant colors stay hidden until they feel threatened, then they flash their sides and open those eyes to make their predators think twice. That hesitation gives the Red-eye a chance to escape.

Fire-Bellied Toad

Gathered in a group while trying to escape the camera.

These little guys can live up to 12 years in captivity. They’re called Fire-belly because of the flamboyant coloring on their underside. They use this as a warning to possible predators saying “I taste bad!”
